While nationally affiliated, they are locally owned and staffed by individuals who have spent years living and working in this area. To achieve CENTURION® status is to earn one of the most prestigious awards presented to CENTURY 21® real estate professionals. Only a small number of offices in the CENTURY 21® System ever reach this elevated status. CENTURY 21 Atwood Realty, Inc. has also received the QUALITY SERVICE® Award from 1994 through 2007. The QUALITY SERVICE® Award is an integral part of the CENTURY 21® System's commitment to excellence and recognizes offices dedicated to continuously exceeding the service expectations of their clients.

In October of 2001 the company held Mankato Embraces America benefit, raising over $25,000 for those fallen by the September 11th tragedy of that same year. The company has also supported locally by giving to the renovation of the YMCA; Minnesota State University, Mankato; Adopt-A-Highway program, Special Olympics, Junior Achievement, Eagle Lake Sports Association, MS Society, Mankato Elks Golf Tournament, MN Valley Sweet Adeline's, March of Dimes, LCWM Athletic Booster Club, Bethany Lutheran College, American Heart Association, Greater Mankato United Way, Mankato Shrine Circus and numerous others. Individually, the agents' have supported Habitat for Humanity, Diabetes Walks, Community Education, C.H.A.I.N and others.
